About Councillor Pike
Councillor Emma Pike was re-elected to Hamilton City Council in the 2025 local elections, entering her second term as a city councillor.
During her first term, Councillor Pike held several key roles including Deputy Chair of the Waikato Civil Defence Emergency Management Group, Deputy Chair of Community Grants, Chair of Traffic Control Hearings, and Chair of Dog Control Hearings. Her prior experience includes working within Parliamentary Services. In the 2025–2028 triennium, Councillor Pike is serving as Chair of the Community Committee.
She is dedicated to fostering meaningful community engagement and being a strong, responsive voice for the people of Hamilton.
