What are mobility parks and who can use them?

Mobility parking spaces are marked by mobility signs with yellow/blue road markings. You must display your mobility parking permit to use them.

CCS Disability Action administers the national Mobility Parking Permit Scheme, apply for a permit and find out more on their website.

Mobility parking locations

Mobility parking spaces are available throughout Hamilton:

  • On-street and in off-street parking areas.
  • At all Council facilities, including our offices, Waterworld, Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton Zoo, and Hamilton Gardens.

If you display your mobility permit, you can use paid general parking spaces for twice the time you’ve paid for. This does not apply to all-day on-street parking spaces, where you must pay full price.
